Joel looking sharp in his new hair cut and shirt.
Joel and I had to go to Pearland today so I could get my fingerprints done. I have to renew my RN license and I was randomly picked to get my fingerprints done. We went to Chick-Fil-A on Broadway and it was packed with kids in the 2-4 year old range. I let him play a long time, then we went to our appointment. I have the toughest time getting my son to look into the camera or just in the general direction of it. Once I get him in place and ready to pose, he immediately starts to avert his eyes off the camera, then his head starts to turn in the direction of his eyes and it's all downhill from there. I then put him back into his pose and ask him to "say cheese" or what have you and he gives me this smile that is not a smile it's more like a pained grimace or a joker face, oh and his eyes are looking off to some place other than the camera. He gets so excited to take a picture, then no matter how fast I try to be, he's not in it "for reals". I don't know what do differently to get him to take a good picture. He sure is a handsome boy though. Oh, by the way, this so so picture, took about 5 takes.....sigh...........
